Gorgeous Jefe and Lord Ra– known locally as some of the top talent to be coming up out of Arizona – have officially begun dropping music as Halal Boys. They are working on an album entitled ‘KUFI CONVERSATIONS’ set to come out later this year, and just released the first single called Halal Intro with increible visuals by Godehstxr.
What makes this duo so powerful is how effective both individuals are at communicating their personal reflections on the mic. Authenticity in music is priceless and these two have a rock-solid discography to showcase this skillset. With Gorgeous Jefe having just dropped his debut studio album Sun of Abdoulaye 6 months ago, this next project is coming in hot to eager ears.

People tell themselves stories about themselves, and guilt over your mistakes often changes your self perception. What’s essential for every human is finding reconciliation within over these decisions and coming to terms with your ‘Why’. Ra and Jefe, in my opinion, are truly a beacon of light to the future generation seeking something of more substance to ingest sonically. There is nothing wrong with making music just for the sake of making music, but when you have no real growth in your sights stagnation is imminent. We need artists to embody this message to some degree, and Halal Boys are undoubtedly taking the reigns this summer.
